Team culture

In the teaching process, the cohesion of our team is beyond my imagination. The daily regular meeting and communication with the headmaster are our tasks, and the mutual ventilation and experience exchange between the class teachers is also the guarantee to promote the different knowledge and vision that we bring to the children every day.
In addition, because there are few recreational activities in rural areas, in order to relieve boredom and maintain everyone's vitality, we will arrange a period of time to play games or other activities in the team every day, and sometimes we will just sit around and talk about the land to enhance mutual understanding and deepen friendship. In my opinion, teaching not only helps western children, but also makes us lifelong friends.
In addition, when we give lectures, we usually arrange the mode of double-teacher teaching. Because the children there are wild and unruly, we especially hope that the children can communicate with us in real time during teaching, so a teacher who maintains order is essential. Practice has proved that this is a good method.
Team preparation
Before we leave, we will have a meeting and discuss it irregularly according to everyone's time. So many aspects of teaching are well prepared. Although many things have changed since I arrived in the place, I will be less flustered when I encounter practical problems in the place by adhering to the principle of "materials are more than forms" in preparation.
In addition, we have also made great efforts in the preparation of the team members in the early stage, especially for girls. Because we are used to staying in big cities, it may be difficult to accept the harsh living environment and all kinds of difficulties there. In the previous meeting, we specially made such mental preparations to let everyone prepare for the worst. Finally, we not only brought useful books and various sporting goods, but also raised donations from many good people. During the service, we found that what the school lacked was the books and sporting goods we brought, and we were very happy to help the children there.

1. Visit local schools.
The first thing we did when we arrived in Dali County was to visit the local central school. As it was the final exam in the county, our visit was short, but we got a preliminary understanding of the local education, which also laid a good foundation for our later work.

The person in charge of the local center expressed sympathy for our arrival. Although it was short-lived, they learned about our accommodation, temperature and other issues in detail and brought us local fruits. We are very touched. 3. Donation ceremony
As we brought a lot of self-raised cultural and sporting goods this time, the school specially prepared a donation ceremony for us. The children are very happy to see what we donated, because there are no sporting goods and there are not so many extracurricular books to read. In the thank-you speech, the children expressed their determination to work harder to develop themselves, and we also felt that we really contributed to the children in the west.
4. Visit the local facility agriculture
Dali county used to be a national poverty-stricken county, but in the past two years, driven by facility agriculture, that is, greenhouse planting, some villagers began to make money and rushed to a well-off life. Through visiting and studying, we also have a better understanding of local agricultural development and a clearer understanding of how to get farmers out of poverty. There are many ways for farmers to get rich, and the key is to rely on the guidance and assistance of policies.

5. Military training for students
The children here have never experienced professional physical education class at all, so they have no idea about queues and military training. We mainly want to give children a sense of discipline and collective honor in this way. Through practice, we found that the heroic and unyielding things in children's bones moved us. 6. Labor force
The so-called supporting agriculture, after teaching, our team participated in the winter labor of some farmers, mainly to cover the greenhouse and close the curtains. 7. Simple party

8. Home visits
This is also the most serious community activity we have ever done. We mainly want to understand the reasons for the formation of each child's personality by visiting their families, and also to better understand our children and some problems and phenomena of rural children in family education. Furthermore, we still want to know how the local rural areas are developing and how the farmers' cultural life is. This also makes up for the fact that the residents here live scattered and there is no better community activities.
