What does the slogan of the moon mean in a dream of red mansions?
Origin: In A Dream of Red Mansions, I spent the Mid-Autumn Festival at Zhen's home, and when I saw a full moon, I got this poem. Metaphorically, I want to be the object of attention like the moon.
Extended data
The slogan of cherishing the moon is a seven-character quatrain written by Cao Xueqin, a famous writer in Qing Dynasty. From the first time in A Dream of Red Mansions: "Zhen Meng is psychic and has a beautiful home."
Jia Yucun's so-called "ambition" is that once the time is right, he can stand above the broad masses of the people and rule them. His political ambitions are exposed here. Zhen's premonition is a folk superstition.
As can be seen from this poem, Jia Yucun's despicable acts, such as fawning on others, clinging to the "four big families" as "symbols of official protection", taking bribes and perverting the law, and ignoring human life, have deep roots.
