The Notice on Standardizing Electric Vehicle Parking and Charging to Strengthen Fire Prevention requires that it is strictly forbidden to park or charge electric vehicles in public areas such as walkways, stairwells and safety exits in buildings.

Article 18 of the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Measures of the Fire Safety Responsibility System stipulates that the property service enterprise shall provide fire safety prevention services in accordance with the contract, maintain the fire-fighting facilities, evacuation passages, fire exits and fire truck passages used in the management area, promptly discourage and stop the occupation, blocking and sealing of evacuation passages, fire exits and fire truck passages, and immediately report to the public security organs and other competent departments.
