Chinese medicine believes that there are many summer heat in summer, and the summer heat must be wet. Due to the external influence of hot summer, the skin is steamed, sweaty too much, or sweaty, so staying in the hot and humid summer can easily lead to or aggravate various skin diseases. At the same time, the skin is often in a humid environment, which not only affects the yang entering the muscle surface, but also reduces the local resistance and is more vulnerable to external evils. The following is the knowledge I brought to you about the prevention and treatment of summer skin diseases by traditional Chinese medicine. Welcome to reading.
Summer is the high incidence of skin diseases. How to prevent and treat skin diseases;
1. Sunburn: Sunburn is an acute skin phototoxic reaction, which is caused by excessive sunlight exposure to exposed parts of the skin. Patients usually have erythema and papules on the exposed parts of the skin, accompanied by itching symptoms. In severe cases, blisters can be formed, accompanied by obvious burning pain and general discomfort.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this disease is mostly caused by damp-heat toxin as the internal cause, sun exposure as the external cause, internal and external integration, heat accumulation in the skin, and transformation into heat toxin.
Prevention and treatment: In order to prevent sunburn, we should first avoid exposure to strong sunlight and gradually increase the exposure. Generally, it is an external protective agent such as various emollients, calamine lotion, Sanhuang lotion, etc. Can be used for treatment and wet compress; You can also take some drugs for clearing away heat and toxic materials, eliminating dampness and relieving itching according to your constitution.
2. Rash: It is caused by high ambient temperature, high humidity and excessive sweating, which can't be evaporated in time, resulting in blocked sweat pores and sweat accumulation or rupture. In addition, patients with thick clothes, obesity, weakness and high fever are more likely to get sick. Some show surface blisters the size of rice grains. It is easy to scratch and has slight desquamation when healing, which is more common in infants and pregnant women, and is called white miliaria; Some are scattered in small red papules, but have nothing to do with hair follicles, and are called erythema, which is more common in children, and some are small pustules, called pustules.
Chinese medicine believes that moisture accumulates in summer to steam the skin, which is caused by poor sweating.
Prevention and control:
(1) Attention should be paid to indoor ventilation in summer to avoid excessive humidity and high temperature.
(2) Clothing should be generous to reduce sweating and facilitate sweat evaporation. Change clothes frequently.
③ Try to keep your skin dry and wipe your sweat with a dry towel. In Qin Ying, obese people, babies and pregnant women take a bath, but don't use cold water. When taking a bath, you can add a little ten drops of water or Huoxiang Zhengqi water to warm water, and then apply prickly heat powder or Liuyi powder after wiping. Pustules can be adjusted by adding indigo powder and boron ice powder sesame oil.
3. Summer dermatitis: It is a big red papule or papule on limbs and trunk caused by high temperature, with severe itching. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the disease is caused by heat, spleen dampness and steaming skin.
Prevention and control:
① In summer, you can wash the affected area with calamine lotion or 30g humulus scandens and 30g Xu Changqing in summer places.
② You can choose lotus leaves, mung beans and watermelons for tea decoction.
(3) Oral Huoxiang Zhengqi Water has the effects of clearing heat, eliminating dampness and relieving itching.
4 tinea pedis and tinea cruris: tinea pedis and tinea cruris are caused by fungal infection. Skin diseases tend to get worse in summer, because fungi like warmth and humidity. Tinea pedis has different manifestations, some of which are desquamation, erosion or blisters between toes; Some scales, such as heel or sole, fall off continuously, and a layer of substance can be scraped off when washing feet, which is more common in the elderly. Tinea cruris is characterized by desquamation of annular erythema on the inner thigh and gluteal groove, increased eccentricity, common small papules around it, and conscious itching or pain.
Prevention and control:
(1) tinea manuum, tinea pedis and tinea cruris are contagious, so you should avoid using sanitary appliances such as towels and slippers, and change shoes, socks and underwear frequently.
② During treatment, antifungal drugs can be applied between toes and thighs.
③ Keratinized type can be soaked in decoctions such as Cortex Pseudolaricis, Herba speranskiae tuberculatae, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Solidago.
Wang Qishan pointed out in Xu Li's Yuan Jian that "heatstroke prevention and cooling should be done in summer, and dampness should be prevented in long summer". Here, the basic principles of summer health preservation are clearly pointed out: preventing heatstroke in midsummer; Protect against moisture and evil in long summer.
