The pigment of marker pen is volatile and can be used for quick drawing at one time. It is often used to design articles, advertising slogans, posters or other artistic creations. You can draw thick lines with little change.

At present, marker pens are also divided into water-based and oil-based inks. Water-based ink is similar to colored pen, and contains no oil essence. Oily ink is more irritating and volatile because it contains oil essence. If the paint falls off the toy, you can use a marker to make up the color.

Needle-pen principle

The outflow of ink from the stylus is the result of air pressure and gravity. The air entering the pen tube comes from the tip of the pen during transportation.

Small bubbles float from the pen tip into the pen tube and then press on the ink. The air passage in the nib assembly makes the air pressure inside and outside the pen tube uniform, so the ink can flow out evenly. If the airway is blocked, bubbles cannot enter and ink cannot flow out.

The blockage is because the vibration of the pen makes the air expand, thus allowing ink to enter the snorkel. There is a thin wire tied to a weight in the tubular nib, which is the only movable part of the needle pen. When the needle pen tilts or vibrates, gravity makes the wire move up and down, controls the outflow of ink, and removes any small sundries in the pen tip.
