Why does Islam prohibit smoking?

As we all know, Islam is one of the greatest religions in the world, with the same name as Buddhism and Christianity. We know that Buddhism had many restrictions in ancient times, for example, monks in ancient times were not allowed to approach women and so on. Of course, Islam also has its own forbidden zones, such as not eating pork and gambling. Another point is that you can't smoke. We can understand that they can't eat pork, but why not smoke? This is actually related to their religious teachings.

As for smoking, we all know that smoking is harmful to health, and it is still printed on the cigarette case. Islam is translated from Arabic, and direct understanding means peace. Therefore, Islam yearns for beauty, pursues peace and does not kill. Therefore, the doctrine that killing people for no reason is a great sin has been extended. You can't kill others and hurt yourself at the same time.
