I. Contents of activities

General information about the elderly:

Most of the nursing homes in xx are widowed and five-guarantee households. They lack happy experiences such as affection and indifference. (1) Before I entered the nursing home, I always thought that the old people would be happier here. Because the old people have no worries about food and clothing here and are taken care of by the staff, they can do what they like according to their own interests. However, through the investigation of the elderly, it is found that this is not the case. Some old people I chatted with reported that many old people have never been out of the house since they entered the welfare home. (2) What impressed me most in this survey is that the old people are so lonely! I noticed that when I went to see an old woman, I sat next to her and started chatting. I think we should take more time to visit the elderly in welfare homes, spend more time chatting with them and bring them more laughter.
