China Water Conservancy Museum is a national industrial museum directly under the Ministry of Water Resources. In order to publicize the people's historical achievements and great achievements in water conservancy, carry forward the spirit of water conservancy, inherit water conservancy culture, popularize water conservancy knowledge and promote the sustainable development of water conservancy, in July 2004, with the approval of the State Council and the approval of the Central Organization Committee, China Water Conservancy Museum was established in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province, managed by the Ministry of Water Resources and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. The museum is located on the south bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou, with a building area of 36,500 square meters and a height of 128.9 meters.
