Overview of Wuhan Anti-Japanese War Memorial Park

The Wuhan Anti-Japanese War Memorial Park is located in Shimenfeng Memorial Park in Wuchang. It consists of the main entrance square of the memorial park, the Wuhan Defense War Memorial Wall and the Heroes Square. The Wuhan Defense War Memorial Wall is engraved with General Secretary Hu Jintao’s 16-word summary of the commemoration of China’s Anti-Japanese War: “Keep history in mind, never forget the past, cherish peace, and create the future.” The wall of Heroes Square is engraved with thousands of names of anti-Japanese war heroes.
