What are the problems in the application of welding robot?

(1) There is a welding deviation problem: the welding position may be incorrect or there is a problem in finding the welding torch. At this time, it is necessary to consider whether TCP (welding gun center position) is accurate and make adjustments. If this happens frequently, it is necessary to check the zero position of each axis of the robot and recalibrate it for correction.

(2) The problem of undercut occurs: it may be due to improper selection of welding parameters, incorrect welding torch angle or welding torch position, which can be adjusted appropriately.

(3) Pore problem: It may be that the gas protection is poor, the primer of the workpiece is too thick or the protective gas is not dry enough, so it can be dealt with by making corresponding adjustments.

(4) Excessive spatter: It may be due to improper selection of welding parameters and gas composition or the extended length of welding wire. The welding parameters can be changed by properly adjusting the power of the machine, adjusting the gas proportioning instrument to adjust the proportion of mixed gas, and adjusting the relative position between the welding torch and the workpiece.

(5) The problem of arc pit formed after the weld end is cooled: When programmable, the function of burying arc pit is added in the working step to fill it.
