Construction preparation and matters needing attention:

1. Before construction, check whether the insulation board material is reliable, and see if the material is damaged or missing.

2. Before laying, locate the leveling layer and moistureproof layer, and then construct the leveling layer and moistureproof layer.

3. In the process of construction, ensure that the materials are dry and flat.

4. During construction, attention should be paid to protect the board surface, and it is not allowed to carry or trample at will.

Construction process:

1. Clean the surface, and prepare some fine slag or expanded perlite bulk materials as the paving cushion with a thickness of about 3-5mm, which will be paved together with the cushion.

2. When laying the board, the board joints should be staggered and filled with hydrophobic perlite bulk material and 107 glue mixed with synthetic pulp.

3. After the board surface is paved, apply a layer of 107 mixed cement slurry as the bonding layer, then apply cement mortar on the leveling layer, and finally make a waterproof layer on the leveling layer, and continue to apply cement mortar liquid repeatedly.

4. Find out the location of the flat layer and steam barrier. After the construction of leveling layer and steam barrier is completed, pay attention to keep the base level flat, clean and dry.

5. Check whether the plate-like thermal insulation material is damaged or missing, and it should be sawed flat when laying.

6. Spread dry boards. It is worth noting that the dry plate-like thermal insulation material should be close to the surface of the base, flat and stable. When laying in layers, the upper and lower joints should be staggered, and the joints should be filled with chips of similar materials.

7. Paste the plate-like thermal insulation material, and use the thermal insulation slurry made of hydrophobic perlite to make ash cake, which is washed and plastered. Pay attention to apply evenly and naturally, without bulging.

8. Press the anti-crack mortar into the alkali-resistant grid cloth, brush the elastic primer, and brush off the excess materials with water-resistant putty to make the surface smooth and dry.

9. Paint according to the engineering design requirements.

Because hydrophobic perlite is colorless and tasteless, and its appearance is very similar to cement powder, many construction workers often mix the two materials when mixing cement slurry, and mistakenly smear hydrophobic perlite on the leveling layer and adhesive layer when paving the panel, which leads to the failure of the next work.
