Characteristic Education in Benxi No.3 Middle School

It is the teaching characteristic of our school to give priority to teaching, take sports and art as two wings, and comprehensively promote quality education. Every year, while paying attention to the quality of teaching, the school implements special policies for students with special abilities in sports and art, offering special training courses in sports and art, which are trained by full-time teachers, and having special gymnasiums, studios and piano rooms for students to practice and improve. In the past two years, most of these special students have been selected into higher-level sports art colleges, such as Shenyang Institute of Physical Education, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

In the past two years, the college entrance examination has achieved good results and reached a new level every year. Especially in 2004, Xuemiao was admitted to our school after the expansion of key high schools in the city, with a poor foundation. We overcame all kinds of difficulties and achieved a historic breakthrough in the college entrance examination, with the highest score reaching more than 600 for the first time. The undergraduate admission rate is over 40%, and the junior college admission rate is 100%, among which 7 people are admitted to national key universities.
