Wanyuan city belongs to which city?

Wanyuan has a long history. It is thought that Liangzhou is the land of Yongzhou, and Dangqu County, Ba County, Qin Wei. From Han Dynasty to Ming Dynasty, it belonged to dongxiang county, Tongchuan County, Dazhou. Taiping County was located in Li Taiping, dongxiang county in the 10th year of Wudong in Ming Dynasty (15 15), and it became the present area in Daoguang and Qing Dynasties. In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it was renamed Wanyuan county because it had the same name as Taiping county in Anhui province, meaning "there are thousands of ponds in the northeast of the county, from which more water from neighboring cities comes".

Wanyuan City is managed by Dazhou City. Dazhou is a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, a natural gas energy and chemical base in the west approved by the Sichuan provincial government, a transportation hub, a cultural and commercial center and an ecologically livable regional central city at the junction of Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei and Shaanxi.

Wanyuan City is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province, in the hinterland of Daba Mountain, at the junction of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Chongqing, and at the intersection of seven counties and cities. It is the dividing line between the northern and southern climate of China, and also the watershed between Jialing River and Han River. It is a national restricted development zone and an important ecological function zone, a national key poverty alleviation and development county, and a pilot county with strong power expansion in the province.

The Gujunba Uprising led by revolutionary martyr Li Jiajun shocked Sichuan, and created the earliest revolutionary armed forces in Sichuan-the first guerrilla of Sichuan Workers and Peasants Red Army. 1934, Xu, Li Xiannian, Xu and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation fought the "largest, longest, most arduous and brilliant" Wanyuan Defence War in the history of the Red Fourth Front Army. More than 80,000 sons and daughters joined the army and made great contributions to the founding of New China. There are many Red Army stone slogans and battlefield sites in China, and Wanyuan Defence War Historical Exhibition Hall is listed as "National Patriotism Education Demonstration Base" and "National Red Tourism Classic Scenic Spot".

Wanyuan has obvious geographical advantages. Since ancient times, it has been an important commercial center in Qinba area, with a broad market and strong consumption power. Wanyuan is the main passage in and out of Sichuan in the north, including Xiangyu Railway, Baomao Expressway, National Highway 2 10, 347 and other trunk lines. Wanyuan is a provincial ecological demonstration city with a forest coverage rate of 55.85%.
