Conditions for families with disabilities who apply for funding from Sunshine Home Project.

Belong to the urban and rural minimum living security object, or meet the standards set by the local government; Family members with intellectual, mental and severe disabilities are at the age of employment and unemployment and need long-term special care; Family members with intellectual, mental and severe disabilities hold the second generation People's Republic of China (PRC) Disabled Persons' Card. The plan requires all localities to formulate specific implementation plans, refine supporting measures, strictly implement the application examination and approval procedures, accept applications without charging fees, conscientiously implement the provisions on earmarking, timely and fully allocate funds, earnestly strengthen supervision and inspection, strictly implement the accountability system, and establish and improve special files and special databases. It is reported that during the implementation of this plan, the China Disabled Persons' Federation and the Ministry of Finance will conduct annual performance appraisal for all localities, and will conduct evaluation and acceptance in the middle and late stages. The specially designed "Sunshine House" logo will be used by the home care service institutions and families for the disabled funded by the "Sunshine House Plan".
