First of all, broadly speaking, there are three kinds of coffee beans in the world, namely Arabica, which accounts for 60%-70%, Robusta, which accounts for 30%-40%, and Libica, which accounts for only 3%. Ethiopia is one of the most important producing areas in Arabica.

When it comes to Ethiopia, many white people will confuse coffee beans from two places of origin, namely "Yega Sheffield" and "Sidamo". In fact, Siddharma is a province in southern Ethiopia, and Yegashifi is a small town in Siddharma.

The town is located between 1700-2 100 meters above sea level. "Yega" and "Xue Fei" have their own meanings. This beautiful name means "Let's settle in this wetland" in the old saying.

Most of Yejia Xuefei's beans are washed, and only a few will be dried, which is why the name "washed Ye Jia" will make coffee lovers more familiar ~

The two treatment methods naturally have two grades, both of which are determined by physical characteristics and cup quality. The difference is that the physical characteristics in water washing score are determined by the number of defects, appearance size, color and smell, while the physical characteristics in sun exposure score only look at the number and smell of defects. The evaluation criteria of cup quality are exactly the same, and the score is determined by cleanliness, acidity, taste and flavor characteristics.

In this way, the respective grades are divided into nine grades: G 1-G9, and then the beans of G 1-G3 are re-evaluated, and two higher grades, Q 1 and Q2, are separated.
