What should I pay attention to when raising?

(1) Avoid the blood relationship between boars and sows and prevent inbreeding.

Inbreeding degeneration reduces the number of litters, and increases stillbirths and malformations. Even if live piglets are born, they are often weak and grow slowly. Generally, it is necessary to make a breeding plan in advance and carry out breeding in strict accordance with the breeding plan.

(2) Be kind to the sow before and after breeding, and don't let it be frightened, which will affect the conception rate.

Males and sows should not take a bath and exercise vigorously immediately after mating or sperm collection, nor should they drink water immediately. If the breeding interval must be more than half an hour after feeding, the abdomen of the newly eaten boar will be full of food, which is inconvenient for activities and affects the breeding quality.

(3) Injecting 20 units of oxytocin 2 minutes before mating can increase the conception rate by 5% ~ 10% and the litter size by 1.5 ~ 2.0. It is best to supply warm water after breeding. If sows suffer from dermatosis, they should be treated by spraying 1% ~ 2% trichlorfon solution on pigs before breeding. However, drugs should not be used after mating, otherwise it may lead to early embryo death.

(4) Breeding pigs should be carried out before feeding 1 hour or 2 hours after feeding in the morning and evening. The mating ground should be flat and quiet, and there should be no sharp objects around to avoid stabbing the sow. The length and width of the breeding farm should be twice the length of the breeding pig. After mating, neither male nor female can bathe or feed immediately.

(5) Boars are domestic animals that ejaculate many times, and the mating time can be as long as 15 ~ 20 minutes, and the cumulative ejaculation time is about 6 minutes, which leads to great physical consumption. When this breed mates, if the mating amount of boars is not large, they can mate completely without controlling their ejaculation times. However, when the mating burden of boars is large and concentrated, in order to reduce the physical consumption of boars, it is advisable to control the number of ejaculations per mating to 2 times, and the boar ejaculates to 2 times, which can completely ensure the normal pregnancy of sows. The method is, when the boar ejaculates twice, slowly push the sow forward. When the boar can't keep up, it will naturally slide down from the sow's back. Never drive a wild boar with a whip. The number of ejaculations of boars can be judged according to whether the anus fluctuates. When ejaculating, the boar stops twitching, the testicles tighten and the anus fluctuates constantly. During the ejaculation interval, the boar twitched again, the testicles relaxed and the anus stopped fluctuating. According to this, the number of ejaculations can be accurately judged.

(6) In this breeding, the proportion of male sows should be reasonable, and their constitutions should not be too different. It is better for a boar to match a sow than for a boar to match a sow. Some sows bred for the first time are unwilling to accept crawling, and boars with strong sexual desire can be beneficial to complete mating; First, sow weaning and returning sow are bred, and then selective breeding of reserve sow is carried out according to the full-load breeding plan, and the reserve sow and returning sow need to be bred three times.

(8) The breeding ground should not be too slippery.

Too smooth ground, coupled with semen spilled on the ground during mating, can easily make boars slip and get injured. It is forbidden to breed in the field near the boar house, so as not to cause disturbance to other boars.

(9) Do a good job in estrus inspection and breeding records.

When the pigs in estrus are found, the ear number, column number and estrus time shall be registered in time. Found in the morning, the first game in the afternoon; I found it in the afternoon and served it the next day. Keep breeding for 2 ~ 3 times, keep breeding records and establish breeding sow files. Reproduction records are reported once a week.
