Notice of Dongping County People's Government on the Prohibition of Fishing in Dongping Lake

In order to protect, multiply and scientifically utilize the fishery resources of Dongping Lake, maintain the normal fishery production order in the lake area and protect the ecological environment of Dongping Lake, according to the Fisheries Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Notice of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Adjusting the Yellow River Fishing Ban System, the Measures for the Protection of Fishery Resources in Shandong Province, the Regulations on the Management of Inland Fisheries in Shandong Province and the Measures for the Protection of Wetlands in Shandong Province. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

One. Closed fishing period and closed fishing area

Three. Other requirements

Relevant units and individuals shall consciously abide by fishery laws and regulations. In violation of fishery laws and regulations, Dongping County Agriculture and Rural Bureau and Dongping Lake Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade shall, according to the seriousness of the case, impose penalties such as confiscation of catches, confiscation of illegal income, fines, confiscation of fishing gear, revocation of fishing licenses and compensation for resource losses. Those who resist inspection, disrupt or destroy the production order and the circumstances are serious shall be transferred to the public security organs for investigation according to law; If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated by judicial organs according to law.

Villages and towns along the lake should set up a special team to clean up the lake, strengthen supervision and inspection of the lake, and hand over those who violate the provisions of the notice to relevant functional departments for treatment or punishment in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Under the unified leadership of the county government, the work of closing the lake and banning fishing was organized and implemented by the county public security bureau, the county Dongping Lake Management Committee, the county agricultural and rural bureau, the county aquaculture development center, the Dongping Lake Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade and the towns along the lake. Towns and relevant departments should closely cooperate with Qi Xin to effectively implement various management measures to create a good environment for fishery production in Dongping Lake.
