Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1958. It is one of the earliest universities of traditional Chinese medicine in the country. Its predecessor was the Henan Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Training School founded in Kaifeng in 1955. The school is located in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital.
