In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the eight central regulations, further promote the construction of work style, strengthen the construction of strict police team, strengthen the management of public security team, and establish a good image of the public security organs in Inner Mongolia, the Party Committee of the Public Security Department of Inner Mongolia formulated and issued the Regulations on Prohibiting Illegal Drinking by Public Security Organs in Inner Mongolia (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations), and put forward an initiative to prohibit drinking to the police, career personnel, on-the-job employees and police auxiliary personnel of public security organs in the whole region.

The Regulations are divided into seven articles, the main contents of which include:

No drinking on weekdays;

No drinking during duty, duty, standby, business trip and major security;

It is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol during official activities such as law enforcement, attending meetings, learning and training, inspection and supervision, investigation and research, asking for reports, and visiting condolences;

It is strictly forbidden to gather people to drink alcohol on the grounds of cadre promotion, transfer, retirement, commendation and awards, celebrations, etc.

It is strictly forbidden to organize or participate in illegal banquets and drinking for the purpose of seeking benefits, which may affect the fair performance of duties and damage the image of public security organs;

It is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol in workplaces, dormitories, internal canteens and other police camps and public places with police uniforms;

Drinking is forbidden at any time and on any occasion.

The "Regulations" point out that if it is really necessary to drink alcohol in major foreign affairs activities, it must be reported to the main leaders of local public security organs for approval according to the principle of one thing and one batch, and the organizer should list the reasons, time, place and scope of participation. Do not drink alcohol without approval.

The "Regulations" require that those who drink alcohol in violation of regulations should first stop performing their duties; People who drink and make trouble will be grounded first; Direct leaders who have serious consequences due to improper education management and illegal drinking will be dismissed first. At the same time, according to the situation, the responsible person shall be dealt with strictly according to the rules and regulations, and criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law if the case constitutes a crime. Those who conceal, fail to report, investigate, cover up and protect will be strictly investigated for relevant leadership responsibilities.

The Railway Public Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security requires railway police authorities at all levels to improve their political stance, earnestly fulfill their main responsibilities and do a good job in implementation.
