Notice on Delineating Areas Prohibited from Open-air Barbecue

In order to effectively prevent and control air pollution, do a good job in the management of open-air barbecue, and maintain a good ecological environment along the Yellow River, according to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution, the Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution in Henan Province, the Regulations on the Protection of Drinking Water Sources in Kaifeng City and other relevant laws and regulations, combined with the actual situation of the urban-rural integration demonstration zone in Kaifeng City, and after research by the Administrative Committee, the relevant work announcement on prohibiting open-air barbecue in the demonstration zone is as follows:

First, there is no open-air barbecue area

The demonstration area is an open-air barbecue "no-barbecue area", including dikes along the Yellow River, river management scope and the first-and second-class protected areas of drinking water sources north of Donggan Canal.

Second, the specific requirements

No unit or individual is allowed to have an open-air barbecue in the designated forbidden area or provide venues and appliances for the open-air barbecue.

Third, the implementation time.

This notice shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
