January 10th is the Chinese People’s Police Day.

"Chinese People's Police Day" is a festival specially established for the people's police force at the national level. It is a full recognition of the heroic struggle of the people's police force for the interests of the party and the people. On July 21, 2020, the "Reply of the State Council on Approving the Establishment of the "Chinese People's Police Day"" was released, agreeing to establish January 10 every year as the "Chinese People's Police Day" starting from 2021.

On January 10, public security agencies and public security colleges across the country held police flag raising (hanging) ceremonies, sang police songs, reviewed the oath of joining the police, kept in mind the original intention and mission, and strengthened their belief in being a police officer.
