Where is Jiading District Archives?

Jiading District Archives is a patriotic education base.

The file was established in June, 1959. It is the permanent archives preservation base, archives information center, government public information utilization reference center, Shanghai first-class archives, information public access window designated by Jiading district government, legal education base for teenagers in Jiading district, red scarf practice base in Jiading district and district-level patriotism education base.

On the premise of ensuring the safety of archives, the archives fully tapped the collection resources and built a 150 square meter archives exhibition hall with the fixed exhibition theme of "Jiading Footprints in Archives". During the hosting of the Shanghai World Expo, the district archives carried out a variety of patriotic education activities, showed the educational resources and special activities of the archives to the society in an all-round way, and strived to give full play to the decision-making reference function, exhibition education function, social classroom function, information collection and dissemination function and consulting and utilization function of the comprehensive archives. The District Archives also twinned with Xincheng Road Primary School and Fengchi Community in Jiading Industrial Development Zone, providing an effective platform for further patriotic education activities.
