On September 1 day, the Measures for the Management of Domestic Waste Classification in Xi 'an City will be officially implemented, and the urban management law enforcement departments in Xi 'an will carry out law enforcement inspections. Units and individuals that fail to classify garbage according to standards will be subject to administrative penalties. According to the regulations, if a unit or individual randomly throws domestic garbage in violation of regulations, the individual shall be fined more than 100 yuan and less than 200 yuan, and the unit shall be fined more than 5,000 yuan and less than 20,000 yuan.

Xi's garbage classification is mainly divided into four categories: recyclables, harmful waste, kitchen waste and other garbage. The Measures for the Administration of Domestic Waste Classification in Xi have been considered and adopted at the 86th executive meeting of the Municipal People's Government on April 16, 2065438, and are hereby promulgated and shall come into force as of September 16, 2065438.

Four colors of garbage classification:

1, recyclable garbage: blue

Recyclable garbage includes waste paper, plastic, glass, metal and cloth. Generally, these garbage can be reused, so the purpose of saving resources is achieved. Use the blue trash can to put the recyclable garbage on the garbage sorting trash can.

2, kitchen waste: green

Kitchen waste, including human leftovers, bones, leaves, stones and peels, can be used to produce organic fertilizer. Use the green trash can to put the kitchen garbage.

3. Hazardous waste: red

Hazardous wastes include heavy metals that are toxic and harmful to human body, and some wastes that are harmful to the environment, including batteries, lamps, light bulbs, paint buckets, some household appliances, expired products, daily chemicals, etc. Toxic harmful waste is packed in a red trash can.

4. Other garbage: gray

Other rubbish includes building dregs, ceramics, toilet waste paper, paper towels, food bags, dust, etc. It can be disposed of by landfill, and other garbage can be put in gray trash can.
