How to write a handwritten newspaper for the day of love
In order to implement the health work policy of focusing on prevention, a theme is determined for "Ear Love Day" every year, and publicity and education activities with the main content of preventing deafness are carried out in the whole society. Relevant departments should organize leaders at all levels, ENT experts, medical workers, disabled workers, volunteer workers and disabled people to hold symposiums, conduct on-site observations, go to the streets to consult free clinics, and carry out hearing assistance activities. At the same time, TV, radio, newspapers, public service advertisements, posters, prevention books and other forms are used to publicize and popularize prevention knowledge, so that the general public can understand the causes, hazards, prevention and rehabilitation methods of deafness, raise awareness of deafness prevention, and carry out " "Early detection, early diagnosis, early recovery" education to avoid and reduce the occurrence of deafness
Definition of deafness
It is generally believed that the average hearing threshold for speech frequencies (0.5, 1.2Hz) is above 26dB. That is to say, there is hearing impairment. Those whose hearing loss is less than 70dB are called hard of hearing, and those whose hearing loss is more than 70dB are called deafness. In clinical practice, they are collectively called deafness.
Three Tips to Prevent Deafness
The toxic reactions of more than ten antibiotics used clinically can damage the auditory nerve. They are streptomycin, dihydrostreptomycin, neomycin, Kanamycin, gentamicin, puromycin, kasugamycin, polymyxin, and vancomycin are collectively referred to as "ototoxic antibiotics" in medicine.
Preventing deafness in children should start from the time of pregnancy. Pregnant women should avoid going to places that are too messy to avoid contracting infectious colds, mumps, encephalitis and other diseases. At the same time, they should try to avoid exposure to X-rays.
Excessive emotion, impatience, and rage are also important factors in inducing sudden deafness, because when people's emotions fluctuate violently, the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves in the body will lose their normal functions or become dysfunctional, resulting in hearing loss in the inner ear. Deafness is caused by ischemia and hypoxia.
Causes of deafness
National Hear Care Day
National Hear Care Day
There are many causes of deafness, including genetics, disease ( Mumps, influenza, scarlet fever, diphtheria, typhoid, syphilis, meningitis, diabetes, autoimmune system diseases), trauma, etc. In addition, factors such as gas poisoning, noise, and lack of oxygen at birth can also cause deafness. More than 100 kinds of drugs have been found to be toxic to the ears. The most common ototoxic drugs include gentamicin, streptomycin, kanamycin, chlorampycin, minor doxorubicin, erythromycin and other antibiotics. There are also salicylic acid preparations, strong diuretics such as furosemide, and anti-malarial drugs such as quinine and chloroquine.
Classification of deafness
According to degree, it can be divided into
(1) Mild hearing loss, no communication difficulties, but hearing loss measured by hearing instruments is worse than normal .
(2) Mild hearing loss, inability to hear quiet speech clearly within a normal distance.
(3) Moderate hearing loss, making it difficult to listen to ordinary speech.
(4). Moderate to severe hearing loss, making it difficult to listen to loud sounds.
(5) Severe hearing loss, only the loud shouting in the ear can be heard.
(6) Extreme hearing loss, almost no sound can be heard, even loud shouts in the ear cannot be heard clearly.
According to the time when deafness occurs, it can be divided into congenital deafness and acquired deafness.
According to the location of the lesion, it can be roughly divided into conductive deafness, nerve deafness and mixed deafness.
Grading of deafness
Clinically, grading is based on the average hearing threshold of 500 to 2000Hz. The commonly used grading method is:
Slight hearing loss, pure tone hearing threshold is 16~25dBHL.
Mild hearing loss: Inability to hear soft speech at a normal distance. The above average hearing threshold is 26 to 40dBHL.
Moderate hearing loss has difficulty listening to ordinary conversations, with an average hearing threshold of 41 to 55dBHL.
Moderate to severe hearing loss also has difficulty hearing loud sounds, with the average hearing threshold being 56 to 70dBHL.
Severe hearing loss can only hear loud shouting in the ear, and the average hearing threshold is 71 to 90dBHL.
Extreme hearing loss: Almost no sound can be heard, and even loud shouts in the ear cannot be heard clearly. The average hearing threshold is above 90dBHL.
