In response to the Education Bureau’s call for “Anti-Drug Awareness Month”, Yangtaohu Central School took Principal Zhong Hui as the main event planner, and the office and Youth League Committee were responsible for organizing and implementing it. On May 19, our town held a meeting to promote the special rectification work of vehicles for picking up and dropping off students. Town Mayor Cai Yueqi, Town People's Congress Chairman and Political and Legal Committee Secretary Zeng Boyun, Town People's Congress Vice Chairman Zeng Xiaochun, Police Station Director Wan Shanji, Junshanpu Squadron Captain Dai Jicheng, and Deputy Captain Xiang Hui attended the meeting. Members of the town safety committee, school leaders, owners of vehicles that pick up and drop off students, and student parent representatives attended the meeting.

Zeng Xiaochun, the town’s person in charge of education and vice chairman of the town’s People’s Congress, made a work report. First, it affirmed the achievements of the current work and proposed the goal of making persistent efforts to ensure that there are "zero" accidents involving vehicles picking up and dropping off students in our town. The second is to analyze the current situation, point out the existing problems and corrective measures, and emphasize the need to strictly implement the "six fixed models" and standardize the order of vehicles; it is necessary to effectively speed up the construction of speed bumps, optimize the safety environment, and ensure the safety of signing Declaration of responsibility and clear responsibilities and obligations.

The meeting also specially invited Captain Dai of the Junshanpu Traffic Police Squadron to conduct road traffic safety knowledge training, and specifically warned vehicle drivers to abide by traffic rules, abandon the "six bad traffic habits", and advocate civilized travel.

Wan Shanji, director of the town police station, reported several recent school bus safety accidents that shocked the country, requiring all units to do a good job in safety education for students, parents of students and car owners, and to punish those who violate laws and regulations related to traffic safety. , will cooperate with the traffic police department to crack down severely.

Town Mayor Cai Yueqi made a summary report, emphasizing that to do a good job in improving the safety of vehicles for picking up and dropping off students, first, we must obey the government arrangements, understand and support the development of the work.
