Mascots

The mascots of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 are a group of robots. The name of the combination is Memories of Jiangnan, which is derived from a poem by Baijuyi. The three mascots are names Chenchen, Congcong and Lianlian. They stand for not only Hangzhou's heritage but also the drive for innovation.

Congcong stands for the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City and its name is derived from Yu Cong, a representative relic unearthed at the site.

Lianlian represents the World Heritage site West Lake, named after its lotus leaves. And the decoration of its head is Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.

Chenchen, whose name comes form the Gongchen Bridge, represents the World Heritage Beijing-Hangzhou Canal. And its head is decorated by the Qianjiang tide.
