The history and culture of Shaxi Town

Shaxi is an old revolutionary base and a red holy land, where 25,048 Red Army soldiers who shed their blood and sacrificed their lives for the founding of New China are buried here. Within the territory there are red tourist attractions such as the Red Army Martyrs Cemetery in the Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base, the former site of the Fourth Red Army General Hospital, and the stone carving slogan "Redize the whole Sichuan". It is one of the 100 red tourist routes in the country.
