Please write an internship summary of about 800 words, which is in a factory!!!

I was very lucky to get a two-week internship opportunity in a factory. In just two weeks, I visited twelve factories in one go. Through this internship, I gained a lot of things that I couldn't get in the office, which are summarized as follows:

First of all, I have a relatively detailed understanding of power tool products and the inspection process. As a person with little exposure to science and engineering knowledge, I don't know much about the structure, operation, and manufacturing process of power tools. Although I had a week of simple training in Deshuo at the beginning of my job, I still did not fully understand the internal structure and working principles of power tools, and I was even unclear about the uses of some products. After this factory internship, I have a more intuitive and profound understanding of the mechanical words that I originally typed on the documents. I intuitively learned about a series of real-life power tool products. By helping two QEs inspect the products, I also learned about their internal structures, working principles, manufacturing processes, existing problems, and possible solutions to the problems.

To be a good salesperson, you must have a comprehensive and correct understanding of the products you sell. Through this internship, I actually learned knowledge that is difficult to obtain in the office but is also very important. However, I still have a series of difficulties in understanding a series of issues, such as the impact of a small defect in the motor on the entire product. However, I will continue to take advantage of every opportunity to learn, make up for my shortcomings, and lay a good foundation for becoming an excellent salesperson.

Secondly, if you learn to think from other people's perspective, you can look at problems, consider them, and solve them from a more systematic perspective. Foreign trade is a systematic work. From developing customers, receiving orders, arranging production in the factory, quality control, quality inspection to the final document shipping operation and settlement of foreign exchange, all aspects are a closely linked and interlocking organic whole. In my work, I am mainly involved in document shipping, inspection and other tasks, which are closely related to our QC inspection and factory production. However, in my previous job, I was unable to appreciate some of the practical difficulties of QC and factories. Therefore, many problems will arise in terms of work coordination. At the same time, there may be a series of unnecessary misunderstandings with QC and factory. Through this internship, I realized the hard work of QCs and some practical difficulties in production and other aspects of the factory, which provided the necessary preparations for me to carry out my work better and deal with problems in the future.

Third, we have a general understanding of the factory's production capacity, manufacturing process, and production status. Each of the twelve factories I visited has its own characteristics. For example, Changzhou Yueda, which provides small electric grinders for Carrefour, is a small factory with limited production capacity and cannot produce motor equipment by itself. The assembly line is also relatively chaotic. Since core equipment such as motors are purchased from outside, the product quality is very low. It is difficult to control, and the cost is also difficult to control; Changzhou Jinding is a large-scale factory that produces many types of products. Basically, one type of product has one workshop. It is precisely because of the scale effect of this production that they can To a certain extent, they can reduce costs, improve product quality, and form strong competitiveness. They will have greater autonomy in customer selection and can have self-operated export capabilities; Wuyi Gongli is the company that cooperates with Carrefour the most The factory has huge production capacity and has five production and assembly lines. However, their motor production is relatively backward, their products are relatively single, and their product quality is not high enough. Most of their energy is focused on pursuing product quantity. They have neglected the development of new products and high-end products, but their personnel turnover is small and most of their workers are local skilled workers. Therefore, the quality of their products is stable and quality control is relatively easy.

At the same time, each customer also has its own characteristics. For example, Carrefour, which I am most familiar with, is a food supermarket. Power tools are just one of their products to attract popularity and attention. There are too many requirements, and they are basically “DIY” products with low professional requirements. However, since it has branches in many countries around the world, the demand for its products is very large. Therefore, the products demanded by such customers are very suitable for production in factories like Wuyi Gongli.

There is an old saying in China: "Know yourself and the enemy, and you will never be idle in a hundred battles."

For a salesperson, it is very important to understand the requirements of the sales letter. We must first analyze our guests, analyze their needs, and study their consumers and even potential consumers. Only in this way can we truly meet the needs of our guests, capture them, and keep them company. Secondly, we must also study our suppliers, study their capabilities, understand their various aspects, and find the factory that can best meet the various needs of customers as our supplier. Only by doing these two things at the same time, I think we can Only by truly fulfilling the role of a salesperson can your sales career flourish. I think the above is my biggest gain from this factory internship.

At the same time, a series of phenomena and problems in the factory have also aroused my great interest. They are listed below:

1. Enterprise scale and enterprise cost control. For example, Jinding has a very large factory. However, from this, I have another question. A factory like Jinding certainly has its cost and scale advantages. However, will their pursuit of scale hinder the overall improvement of product quality? Will it cause them to be less sophisticated in each category of power tools and lose their comparative advantage? At the same time, will they have excessive management costs in terms of production coordination? Gao’s question is, what will be the development direction of this type of enterprise?

2. Enterprise survival and enterprise innovation and expansion. Many factories are in a period of rapid growth. Jinhua Tongda, Zhejiang Huafeng, and Wuyi Yonghui are all in the process of or have completed relocation from old factories to new factories. They all started with one product or a foreign trade company. With the primitive accumulation of capital and the pursuit of profit maximization, they launched new products one after another. Most of these products have advanced technology and higher profit margins, but older products are also being produced to maintain their profits. However, for factories like Wuyi Gongli, they have no time to spare their energy from mass production of basic products to innovate. This completely different development trend may have different impacts on the development of enterprises.

3 Enterprise management, investment and enterprise product quality. Among the twelve factories, Suzhou Taihu, Yongkang Crown, Wuyi Yida, Zhejiang Huafeng, Yongkang Zhengda, etc. are all implementing "5S" and "6S" management. In these factories, people feel that the production is orderly, clean and refreshing, which gives people reason to believe in the quality of the products under such production conditions. At the same time, most of the above-mentioned factories have advanced production and testing equipment. Yongkang Zhengda also has a laboratory with excellent hardware facilities, which will directly make product quality easier to control.

4 The positioning of the enterprise and its cooperation with foreign trade companies. Every factory operator will have its own positioning. For example, Crown positions its products as "mid-to-high-end". Therefore, they are unwilling to produce low-end products with low profit margins. They even hope to develop their own customers. , Raokai foreign trade company maximizes profits, while factories such as Gongli, Yueda, and Liangming are overly dependent on one product or one foreign trade company, which will hinder their development and growth.

5 The quality of business operators and the philosophy of the business. Some of these factories are family-owned, and the business ideas of the business owner play a vital role in the development of the factory. If the operator of a company has high quality and advanced ideas, he will focus more on the investment in equipment and the development of new products. Development, quality of employees. Cooperating with such a factory will allow both parties to establish more honest cooperation.

The above ideas may not be particularly mature, and some of them may not have much to do with my actual work. However, I will accumulate my gains bit by bit and apply them to my future work.

A slogan I saw at Crown impressed me deeply: "Be brave enough to see yourself as a laggard today." I think if the factory really has such courage and grace, it will definitely make a difference. In the factory, details like this give me a lot of inspiration, and I will digest these gains and really make them work for me.
