It has been three months since Bao Xiao started school. As a parent, I am limited to the changes and growth at home, but my school life is like a blank sheet of paper. Besides the daily communication between teachers and me, my children's life in kindergarten really makes me curious. With this curious mood, I took Bao Xiao to the kindergarten early Friday morning.

I found a place that was hard to find in Bao Xiao, and quietly played the role of an observer. During the two-hour observation activities, from children's free activities to outdoor activities, learning activities and dining, I was deeply impressed by a learning activity of the hungry caterpillar.

In this learning activity, the teacher skillfully integrated a lot of learning content into the story, so that the children could follow the teacher's ideas attentively, so that the children not only heard the story, but also learned a lot of characters, daily necessities and the laws of animal growth during the whole story. In the whole learning process, teachers constantly recognize children in time, which greatly improves children's participation.

Through the observation of this learning activity, I also learned a lot. Why can't children sit down and study quietly at home at ordinary times? It turns out that instead of using good guidance methods, we chose an indoctrination method to force children to learn, which not only failed to achieve the purpose of learning, but made them feel even more disgusted.

Although this learning activity lasted only half an hour, I learned a lesson from it and realized that children's interest is the key to learning. Thanks to the teacher for providing us with a platform and giving parents the opportunity to learn.
