Xichuan Middle School was formerly known as County Teachers' Training School. In May of 20001,based on the leaders of the former teachers' training school and senior middle school teachers, some outstanding teachers from various counties and towns were selected to form Xichuan No.5 High School, and they moved to their present address in July of the same year. On June 20th11,junior middle school and sports art department were added, and on June 20th11,12, it was officially renamed as Xichuan Middle School with the approval of the county party committee and government, forming a trinity development pattern of senior middle school, junior middle school and sports art department. 20 1 1 There are more than 800 students1in the school year, more than 230 faculty members and 2 18 full-time teachers, including 9 excellent class teachers in the city, 6 excellent teachers in the city 16, 5 meritorious teachers in the county and 5 top ten teachers in the county.

Since the establishment of 12, the school has raised more than 30 million yuan from small to large, and built new office buildings, teaching buildings, experimental buildings, canteens, male and female dormitories, etc. On the former site of No.1 Middle School, various internal facilities have been improved. Through the hard work of teachers, we have trained tens of thousands of high school graduates, of whom more than 60 were promoted to key colleges, and more than 200 were in two colleges and three colleges. Through strict management and love, many students with bad behavior habits have been corrected here and made our due contribution to the economic and social development of their hometown and Xichuan. First, school management has been strengthened. Combined with the actual situation of the school, it promulgated and implemented the Evaluation Plan for the Management by Objectives of Teaching and Administrative Staff, Several Provisions on Strengthening the Construction of Leading Groups, and the Implementation Plan for Training Excellent Students to Make Up the Poor, which realized the transformation from "people-oriented management" to "system management", the development of the school entered an institutionalized and standardized track, and the school spirit, teaching style and study style improved obviously.

Second, conditions for running schools have been further improved. With the strong support of the county government and the Education and Sports Bureau, over the past two years, we have invested more than 3 million yuan to equip the teachers' electronic lesson preparation room, equipped each class with multimedia, connected the network broadband, and established the website of Xichuan Middle School. More than 2 million yuan was invested to standardize the teaching building, student canteen and boys' dormitory in the junior middle school of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and the campus greening supporting project was implemented, which made the campus look brand-new.

Third, the classroom reform has been solidly promoted. Around the new curriculum reform, all teachers must compile teaching plans, make courseware and use multimedia teaching. Adhere to small class teaching and vigorously promote classroom reform of interactive guidance, inquiry-based and hierarchical teaching. The phenomenon of not sleeping well in class in the past has disappeared, and the new changes brought about by the curriculum reform have achieved initial results.

Fourth, the level of running schools has improved significantly. In the 20 1 1 college entrance examination, the number of candidates decreased by 40%, 158 undergraduates crossed the line, 109 undergraduates crossed the line in culture class, and 49 musicians crossed the line with facial make-up undergraduates. The enrollment rate of undergraduates reached a record high.
