Team home court

The Lakers’ home court is Staples Arena, located in downtown Los Angeles. It was officially put into use in 1999. The cost is US$380 million.

You can see giant portraits of the team’s famous centers in history, Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and O’Neal, only 3 kilometers away from the arena. There is a bronze statue of Earvin Johnson outside the arena, which was erected before the 2004 All-Star Game in Los Angeles.
