What color is the Lakers home jersey?

The color of the Lakers home jersey is purple and gold (golden yellow), which symbolizes the color of the team's history, the Purple and Gold Dynasty.

The Lakers' jerseys mainly come in three colors, yellow for home games, purple for away games, and a set of white substitute jerseys. The color of the jerseys is also one of the reasons why the Lakers are named the "Purple and Gold Legion."

In the 2013-2014 season, the Lakers added two new sets of jerseys. One set is a black and purple jersey, named "Hollywood Nights"; the other is a white short-sleeved jersey, which was used in the Christmas game against the Heat.

Team home court

The Lakers’ home court is Staples Arena, located in downtown Los Angeles. It was officially put into use in 1999. The cost is US$380 million.

You can see giant portraits of the team’s famous centers in history, Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and O’Neal, only 3 kilometers away from the arena. There is a bronze statue of Earvin Johnson outside the arena, which was erected before the 2004 All-Star Game in Los Angeles. There are six large TV screens hanging on the top of the stadium, and every wonderful scene in the game can be replayed in slow motion in real time. The entire arena is divided into more than 400 blocks, with nearly 200 passages in and out.

Staples Arena is also the home court of the Los Angeles Clippers. Staff will replace the carpet immediately after each game. If it's a derby, whoever is at home will put on that team's floor.
