The Influence of the Party Congress on College Students

The Party Congress has a positive effect on college students, enabling them to keep up with the Party ideologically and do practical things for the people.

The National Congress of the Party of China and its Central Committee are the highest leading organs of the Party of China. Held once every five years, convened by the Central Committee. If the Central Committee deems it necessary, or more than one third of provincial organizations request it, the National Congress can be held in advance; If there are no special circumstances, it shall not be postponed.

According to party constitution, the National Congress of the China * * * Producer Party is held every five years and convened by the Central Committee. If the Central Committee deems it necessary, or more than one third of provincial organizations request it, the National Congress can be held in advance; If there are no special circumstances, it shall not be postponed. The number of deputies to the National Congress and the method of election shall be decided by the Central Committee.

The functions and powers of the National Congress of the China Producer Party are:

(1) To hear and examine the report of the Central Committee;

(2) Examining the report of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection;

(3) To discuss and decide on major issues of the Party;

(4) amending the party's articles of association;

(5) Electing the Central Committee;

(6) Electing the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

When the National Congress is not in session, the Central Committee implements the resolutions of the National Congress, leads all the work of the Party and represents the Producers' Party of China. The Political Bureau of the Central Committee and its Standing Committee exercise the functions and powers of the Central Committee when the plenary session of the Central Committee is not in session. The Central Secretariat is the office of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and its Standing Committee.
