Principles of waste collection in chemical experiments

2. Waste liquid or waste containing high-activity compounds, high-concentration oxidants or reductants shall not be mixed with other chemical wastes.

3. The compatibility of different chemical waste liquids needs to be determined before mixing.

4. In order to prevent overflow, before adding new waste liquid, check whether the container for recovering aromatic chemical waste liquid is placed smoothly, and the container should be loaded to 70%~80% of the total capacity, not full.

Third, the recovery procedure:

1. The recycling time of chemical waste is arranged twice each semester, that is, before the middle of each semester and before the final holiday: at other times, depending on the amount of waste in the chemical waste temporary storage room, recycling can be arranged separately.

Before recycling chemical waste, each laboratory should fill in the Registration Form of Laboratory Chemical Waste Recycling (which can be downloaded from the websites of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Office and the Laboratory Management Office), which will be summarized by the college, and the written materials and electronic materials will be submitted to the Technical Safety Department of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Office and the Laboratory Management Office.
