Where is Mawei Qi Kui Revolutionary Park?

Qi Kui Revolutionary Park is located on the bank of Minjiang River, at the southern foot of Gushan Mountain. Now there are many tall buildings and elevated buildings here. More than 70 years ago, in that war-torn era, this once quiet and remote mountain village was littered with countless sparks for the victory of the revolution.

The person in charge of the relevant departments in Mawei District introduced the revolutionary story of Qi Kui at that time: during the War of Liberation, the Qi Kui Party branch was established, and then the Qi Kui District Working Committee and Wushu Team were established, which ignited the revolutionary fire in Qi Kui.

1in June, 947, the central county committees of Fujian (Qing), Gu (Tian), Lin (Sen), Luo (Yuan) and Lian (Jiang) were established at the Central High Lake Conference of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi. Under the leadership of the county committees in five counties, the revolutionary situation in Qi Kui developed rapidly, and once became the headquarters and command center of the county committees in five counties. 1948 10 the central and county committees of five counties held a landmark working meeting in Qi Kui, which laid the foundation for consolidating the old liberated areas and opening up new guerrilla base areas. After the meeting, the central and county committees of the five counties independently led guerrilla warfare and moved to Qi Kui, Ding 'an, Lianjiang, Luoyuan and other places when they broke off relations with higher organizations. Surrounded by powerful enemies such as the forest, it changed from passive response (anti-suppression) to active attack, and from civil war to foreign war, which made great contributions to the liberation of Fuzhou and its surrounding areas in cooperation with the southward army and left an indelible glorious page in the revolutionary history of Fujian.

"This is the place where we fought. History should not be forgotten. Their revolutionary spirit should always be remembered. This is also the purpose of building the Qi Kui Revolutionary Park. " According to the person in charge of the Party History Office of Mawei District Committee, propaganda slogans have been added in every corner of the park, and red genes have been incorporated to build the Qi Kui Revolutionary Memorial Hall to remember the revolutionary martyrs and carry forward the revolutionary spirit.

The exhibition content of the memorial hall is based on the revolutionary historical materials such as Fuzhou Revolutionary History and Mawei District Party History, and it is divided into five sections: the establishment and development of the Party organization in Qi Kui, the establishment and activities of the central county committees in five counties, the Qi Kui meeting and its influence, the battle before liberation and the new look of Qi Kui, which fully reflects the historical achievements and far-reaching influence of Mawei Qi Kui in Fuzhou Revolutionary War.
