The consumption concept of most villagers can still be recovered. In the investigation of spiritual civilization construction, the team members found that most of the villagers' entertainment activities were watching TV and listening to the radio, and they basically had no habit of reading books and newspapers. Especially when asked about rural bookstores, most respondents answered "I don't know" and "I haven't heard of it". It is understood that this is because the rural infrastructure is weak and there are few cultural activities organized in the village. Usually, there are only special activities on traditional festivals, which are monotonous in form and outdated in content, making the villagers' participation low and unable to meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of farmers.

In the afternoon, the team members visited Mr. Zhou Xiongshan, an old teacher in the village. Mr. Zhou Lao told the team members about the history of Shilian Village. After the film screening, the team members also explained the dangers of drugs, drug knowledge and anti-virus skills to the villagers in detail, reminding them to be vigilant, enhance their anti-drug awareness, actively participate in the anti-drug struggle, and guide the villagers to develop healthy and positive living habits. The majority of villagers have also said that they will resolutely say "no" to drugs and pass on anti-drug knowledge to people around them. In order to avoid the tragedy, the team members analyzed the causes of frequent drowning accidents and how to prevent and distinguish drowning, and also popularized some first-aid tips.
