The difference between armed police and police

Armed police is the national armed force. Armed police soldiers are recruited under compulsory military service. The service period is two years without pay (officers and non-commissioned officers are paid). After retirement, he is an ordinary person. Armed police have no law enforcement power, assist the public security in handling major cases and anti-terrorism and riot prevention, and hand over criminals to the public security. Public security police are civil servants, who enjoy the salary and welfare benefits of civil servants and can work until retirement. The police have the right to enforce the law.

Without public security armed police, there are generally two kinds of police.

1, Armed Police: Armed Police refers to the armed police force, which is an active serviceman, not a civil servant.

2. People's police: People's police are civil servants.

There are eight police types in the Armed Police Force: internal security is the main body; Gold, forest, hydropower and transportation are the four major engineering construction troops.

The "active public security forces" under the command of the Ministry of Public Security also have three police types, namely, border guards, guards and fire-fighting people's police, which are led by four departments respectively:

1, led by the Ministry of National Security, the National Security Police.

2. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, public security police are divided into 14 police types (such as criminal police, patrol police, household registration police and traffic police), and five of them are jointly led by other departments (such as aviation police and anti-smuggling police).

3. Judicial police led by procuratorates and courts.

4. Judicial police led by the Ministry of Justice.

Public security is the public security department and the armed police is the armed police department. Similarly, they are all departments that safeguard people's lives and property and national security. The difference is that they are two departments with different division of labor. After the adjustment, the armed police are directly managed by the central government. Therefore, the armed police belong to the police system, but it is compiled by the army. The Chinese People's Armed Police Force is a power entrusted by the state to defend the internal security of the country.

"Public security" refers to the people's police in a broad sense, which can be divided into four categories: public security police managed by public security departments (that is, "public security" in a narrow sense, including public security, household registration, criminal investigation, transportation, etc. ), the national security police managed by the national security department, the judicial police of the reform-through-labour department, and the judicial police of the courts and procuratorates.
