1. Visit Dazhai Scenic Area

2. I was not able to visit the former residence of Chen Yonggui, but I met Song Liying, the first women director of Dazhai.

After coming down from the scenic spot, it was still early to see the sky, so I asked The road came to the door of Chen Yonggui's former residence, but unfortunately it was not open. The door was very cracked and nothing could be seen into the yard. Although I was not able to visit, standing in front of the former residence, I thought about the things I saw and expressed my admiration for this legendary peasant prime minister.

"Shop", could this be the famous Song Liying's house? He tentatively entered the door and saw an old lady walking in the yard on crutches. After greeting the old man and approaching him, I realized that the old man with silver hair, clean and simple clothes and good spirits in front of me was none other than the world-famous Song Liying.

Song Liying was the first female Communist Party member and first women director in Dazhai in 1947. She was also the wife of Jia Jincai, a national model worker. During the agricultural movement to learn from Dazhai, she worked in Dazhai successively Commune, Xiyang County, Shanxi Province and the All-China Women's Federation, and has held various leadership positions;

In 1979, she was named the national "March 8th Red Flag Bearer" and in 1980, she was awarded the Shanxi Province Model Worker. After Song Liying left her position as a village cadre in 1993, she often explained the history of Dazhai to guests and became a volunteer propagandist for Dazhai and Dazhai spirit.

She has participated in and witnessed the development of Dazhai for more than seventy years since liberation. She is a living archive of Dazhai and a treasure of Dazhai. I was really lucky to meet Mr. Song Liying during this trip to Dazhai.

The old man warmly greeted me to sit down and asked me where I was from. I told her that I came to Dazhai from Zhengzhou, Henan to visit and study. The old man humbly said that we could learn from each other.

Then she told me that her eldest daughter married in Luoyang, is also from Henan, and is now retired. The words conveyed satisfaction, concern for my daughter, and kindness towards me, a Henan native.

The cave still belongs to her, but she just lent it to me. My youngest son's family lives with me.

As an illiterate old man, Song Liying began to practice the words "Dazhai", "Self-reliance, Hard Work" and "Song Liying" every day. Greeting tourists in the store and signing books has become a unique scene in Dazhai.

After saying goodbye to Old Man Song Liying, she got into the B&B owner's car and found out that the owner's surname was Jia. He was born in 1979 and was Mr. Song Liying's nephew. He told me that since his children were not at home, he couldn't live in the two-story house, so he opened a B&B. He also told me that his family and Guo Fenglian's family were neighbors.
