Provisions on funeral management in Shandong Province are as follows: Article 1. Respect the funeral customs of ethnic minorities and advocate voluntary reform; If ethnic minorities voluntarily reform funeral customs, others shall not interfere.

Third, the civil affairs departments of the people's governments at or above the county level are responsible for the funeral management within their respective administrative areas.

Public security, construction, land, health, environmental protection, industry and commerce administration and other departments shall, according to their respective responsibilities, assist in funeral management.

Four, the construction of funeral facilities, should be based on the province's funeral facilities construction planning, to fulfill the examination and approval procedures:

Funeral service personnel shall abide by professional ethics and operating rules, implement standardized and civilized services, and shall not take advantage of their work to ask for property or issue false certificates.

Seventh, the transport, storage and cremation of the remains must rely on the death certificate issued by the public security organ, the recognized medical institution or the local village (neighborhood) committee.

Ninth, the relevant units or individuals shall sign a written agreement with the funeral home for storing abnormal deaths.
