Daokou is an ancient town with thousands of years of history. The Tangtangwei River flows through it and became an important wharf in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. It was glorious through the Ming and Qing Dynasties and is known as "Little Tianjin". Daokou Daqu wine was originally Bingtang Chun wine. The term "Bingtang" originated from Ouyang Xiu in the Northern Song Dynasty. In 1039, Ouyang Xiu was demoted to Huazhou and served as general magistrate due to his words. He built the official office "Bingtang" and brewed his own wine called "Bingtang wine". According to "Hua County Chronicles": "Bingtang" was built in the Song Dynasty by Ouyang Xiu, the governor of the county. He once made wine, named "Bingtang wine". Bingtang Chun Liquor is the predecessor of Daokou Daqu. It has a history of nearly a thousand years. Its wine has a ruddy color and mellow taste and has been famous for hundreds of years. The great calligrapher Huang Tingjian wrote in "Qingpingle·Drinking Banquet": "The Bingtang wine is good, but the silver cup is small." The Southern Song Dynasty poet Lu You's "Notes of Laoxue'an": "In peacetime, Huazhou Bingtang spring wine is the best in the world. 1." is the regional characteristic of Daokou in Huaxian County, Henan Province. The inheritance of national culture has become history and fully demonstrates the cultural connotation of "Daokou Daqu".
