Do traffic slogans have copyrights?
According to copyright law, traffic slogans have no copyright. Whether you are entitled to copyright depends first on whether it is a work; secondly, it depends on whether it is a work protected by copyright law. The Copyright Law stipulates that three categories of works are not protected: ① laws and regulations, agency resolutions, decisions, orders and other documents of a legislative, administrative, judicial nature and other official translations; ② current affairs news; ③ calendars, numerical tables, general tables and formula.
If you must consider traffic slogans to be in the form of written works or graphic works, then the work does not fall into the category of protected works under the Copyright Law because it is a document of an obvious legislative or administrative nature.
