Admission policy for military children

Military children attending public compulsory education schools and inclusive kindergartens can enjoy preferential policies for the education of local military children in the place where they, their parents, grandparents or other legal guardians are registered, or in their parents' place of residence and military station.

Children of military personnel apply for ordinary high schools and secondary vocational schools, and priority is given to admission under the same conditions; Children of martyrs, children of soldiers who died in the line of duty and children of soldiers who meet the prescribed conditions shall enjoy preferential treatment in enrollment in accordance with the preferential education policies for children of local soldiers.

Children of soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and children of soldiers who meet the prescribed conditions apply for admission to institutions of higher learning, and priority is given to admission in accordance with relevant state regulations; Children of martyrs enjoy preferential treatment such as extra points.

Children of martyrs and soldiers who meet the prescribed conditions are entitled to student financial aid policies such as scholarships, grants and related expenses exemption in accordance with regulations.

The state encourages and supports qualified private schools, and gives preferential education to children of soldiers, martyrs and soldiers who died in the line of duty.

Military children receive pre-school education and are given preferential treatment in accordance with the following policies:

1. Children of military personnel who unconditionally enter military kindergartens can be given priority to attend local public kindergartens or inclusive private kindergartens with the approval of the competent authorities on the basis of the certificates issued by the political organs of the units above the regiment level where the military personnel belong.

2. Children of soldiers stationed in hard and remote areas determined by the state and Xizang Autonomous Region's troops stationed on the island, and children of soldiers working in high-risk and high-risk positions such as flying, submarine, aerospace and nuclear-related, can enroll in local public kindergartens or inclusive private kindergartens near the domicile of their parents or other guardians.

Article 3 If the children of the People's Police who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty or the children of the People's Police with Grade 1-4 disabilities apply for ordinary high schools, secondary vocational schools and technical schools, they will be admitted with a score of 10 at the time of enrollment. Disabled people's police, children of people's police who died in the line of duty, and children of people's police with disabilities from grade one to grade four apply for higher education, and priority is given to admission under the same conditions. The disabled people's police are exempt from tuition and miscellaneous fees during their study in school.
