Special system of bank aging service

Legal Analysis: In order to improve the convenience of payment services for the elderly and effectively enhance the availability and satisfaction of daily financial payment services for the elderly, recently, Xining Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China actively promoted the use of intelligent technology to solve the difficulties faced by the elderly in handling financial services, guided banking financial institutions in the province, and formulated a special system for payment services for the elderly according to their payment service needs, so as to facilitate the elderly to handle various payment and settlement businesses.

Xining Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China guides banking financial institutions and payment institutions, strengthens communication and coordination with public service departments such as social security, medical care and taxation, improves supporting measures for the elderly to handle payment and settlement business conveniently, explores and innovates one-stop convenience products and services integrating payment and settlement with public services, and effectively promotes the elderly to pay public services such as water, electricity and administrative fees, as well as high-frequency consumption scenes of the elderly such as retail, supermarkets and restaurants.

Legal basis: Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly Article 1 This Law is formulated in accordance with the Constitution in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the elderly, develop the cause of the elderly and carry forward the virtues of respecting and helping the elderly of the Chinese nation.

Paragraph 1 of Article 45 of the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) states that the people and citizens of China have the right to receive material assistance from the state and society in case of old age, illness or incapacity to work. The state develops social insurance, social relief and medical and health services that citizens need to enjoy these rights.
