How to control the browser with voice in Opera9.5?

Opera's voice function allows you to control the browser with voice and read the text in the webpage.

At present, the voice function can only be used on the Windows platform, and it is only applicable to English.

Your computer must run Windows 2000 or XP, you need a sound card that works properly, and you must connect the microphone and speakers or headphones correctly.

Make sure that the volume of the microphone and speaker is not set to zero or muted.

Voice-enabled documents must have JavaScript enabled to work properly.

Disabling sounds in web pages also disables voice.

Dialogue with opera

You can control the user interface of Opera with your own voice, and you can even abandon the mouse and keyboard when you are proficient.

First, you need to enable the voice option to control Opera with your voice. Press Ctrl+F 12 or select tools >; Preferences Opens the Preferences dialog box.

When this option is enabled, Opera will ask you if you want to download and install the voice library. After confirmation, Opera will automatically complete the subsequent operations.

Open the webpage or leave it unchanged.

Click and hold down the voice button in the view bar.

Read "Opera Reload Page" with the microphone, and then release the voice button.

After many pronunciation attempts, you can let Opera complete different operations, such as reading the text in the webpage. Just highlight the text, click the voice button and issue the command "Opera speak".

Note: The scroll lock key has the same function as the voice button in the view bar.

Opera's voice function also allows you to use voice to communicate with voice-enabled Web services and pages.

Note: All commands related to the browser itself must start with "Opera". This is necessary to distinguish it from pages that support voice.
