Is this really a trivial matter? We want to shout out to those who think like this: "You are wrong! If we allow it to develop like this, where is civilization? Where is politeness?"

Our great motherland is known to the world as a "land of etiquette". Our Chinese nation has always attached great importance to civilization and courtesy. In the course of thousands of years of history, many stories about celebrities and people with lofty ideals treating others with courtesy are still widely recited. The story of "Kong Rong was able to make pears when he was four years old" is a household name, known to all women and children. Mao Zedong was one of the most influential figures of the last century. He developed the virtue of being polite to his elders since he was a child. Later, when he became the president of the country, he could still treat others with courtesy. In 1959, when Chairman Mao returned to Shaoshan, he specially invited the elderly relatives and friends to have dinner. Chairman Mao toasted the elderly people. The elderly people said: "How dare you, Chairman, propose a toast!" Chairman Mao replied: "You should respect the elderly and the virtuous!" This shows how important civility and courtesy are.
