First, you must go to the industrial and commercial bureau to approve a name for your bar. If approved, the industrial and commercial bureau will issue a Notice of Pre-approval of Name, and then you can apply for other licenses.

The procedures required to obtain a business license are as follows:

1. Copy of valid ID card of the operator.

2. One-inch photo of the operator.

3. A copy of the valid family planning certificate of the operator (Guangzhou hukou is not required).

4. The lease contract of business premises shall be filed.

5. A copy of the hygiene license of the business place.

6. Letter of acceptance for fire control examination and approval issued by the fire department of the local public security bureau (/kloc-not required for areas below 0/00 square meter)

7. Business license of entertainment place issued by local cultural bureau.

According to Article 9 of the Acceptance Criteria for Re-examination of Entertainment Places in Guangdong Province, the establishment of bars must meet the following requirements:

1. There are no boxes or private rooms in the bar business hall. ?

2. Without the permission of the administrative department of culture, no performing group or individual may be employed to perform in a bar. ?

3. Warning plaques should be set at the entrance of the place, including:

(1) Approved number and number of waiters. ? The approved capacity of the bar is 1 person per square meter of usable area, and the bar attendants are allocated according to 10% of the approved capacity.

(2) Prohibition of "pornography, gambling and drugs" and escort for profit. ?

(3) Minors shall not be accepted. ?
