What are the classic light shows in China?

There is no official statement in the industry about the more classic domestic light shows, but here are a few of the larger domestic light shows during this year’s National Day.

First, the most majestic National Day light show in Beijing. On the evening of September 26, 70 buildings, 13 overpasses and Zhongguancun Square along the 7.2-kilometer stretch of Zhongguancun Street performed a wonderful light show with the theme of "Long Live the Motherland" to warmly welcome the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with splendor. The entire themed light show comprehensively utilizes LED display and projection technology to make the entire city of Beijing appear more festive and grand.

Second, Guangzhou’s most striving National Day light show. During the National Day, the most dazzling lights in Guangzhou are the Haizhu Bridge and Haiyin Bridge, which carry many beautiful memories of Guangzhou citizens, and the Liede Bridge, which represents the development of Zhujiang New Town. The three bridges span the north and south of the Pearl River, witnessing the booming economy of Guangzhou and the increasingly prosperous lives of the people! Under the bright lighting, the achievements of "reform and opening up" are further highlighted. All the flashes are just for an affectionate confession: I love you, China.

Third, the most humanistic National Day light show in Hangzhou. After watching Guangzhou’s unique “reform struggle” National Day light show, let’s take a look at Hangzhou’s unique “humanistic style” giant lighting paintings. That's right! It is the National Day lighting painting from Mercure West Lake Hotel. Its tubular body is wrapped in red and printed with Hangzhou landmarks: Hangzhou West Lake, Leifeng Pagoda, Qianjiang New City, and Global Center, representing the history and development of Hangzhou. We further designed the theme image to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and turned it into a perfect lighting painting, lighting up the night sky in Hangzhou and expressing our deep love for the motherland!
