Introduction to Shanghang Zijin Park

In 2009, the Ministry of Land and Resources announced the list of my country’s first batch of 28 national mining parks, and “Fujian Shanghang Purple Mountain” was on the list. This is the second national plaque that Zijinshan Industrial Tourism Zone has received since the "National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site".

According to the requirements, the 28 mine parks that have passed the review should complete the infrastructure construction tasks within two years and declare in time according to the promulgated national mine park conditions. After passing the acceptance inspection, they will be named and awarded by the Ministry of Land and Resources. , the local government or the competent department will unveil the monument and open the park. Purple Mountain National Mine Park will gradually carry out the construction of museums, sculpture groups, amusement and other supporting facilities in accordance with relevant requirements.

The total planned area of ??Zijinshan National Mining Park is 30 square kilometers, which is initially divided into 7 functional areas: tourist area, production and operation area, amusement area, leisure area, ecological sightseeing camping area, reception area and administrative area management area. The project will be constructed in three phases: short-term, mid-term and long-term, and is expected to be completed in 2020.
