Hydrogeology: The area belongs to Hengduan mountain system in hydrology, and the dendritic water system is developed. Groundwater is mainly manifested as pore water of Quaternary loose accumulation layer, fissure water of clastic rock, fissure water of metamorphic rock and karst water.

Pore water in loose accumulation layer mainly occurs in Quaternary landslide and alluvial-diluvial strata, and is mainly supplied by atmospheric precipitation and surface water infiltration, with weak water abundance.

Clastic fissure water is mainly produced in CAMBRIAN (? 1) argillaceous siltstone is weak in water-abundance, and it is mainly supplied by atmospheric precipitation.

Hydrological characteristics: May to September is the main flood season in this basin, and some years can be extended to1early October, and major floods mostly occur in June and July. The flood process is mostly single-peak or double-peak, and the general process is 3 days. According to the statistics of the measured data at Zhaojue Station, the annual maximum flood peak discharge appeared in May (65438+0978 on May 26th), and at the latest in1October (1994, 65438+1265438 on October 7th). The maximum annual measured peak flow is 865438+100 m3/s (1July 4, 974), and the minimum annual peak flow is135 m3/s (1May 26, 978).
