Zhenyuan county, Yunnan Province is the core of the world's tea tree birthplace, which has bred the world's largest and oldest "Wild Tea Tree King" with a tree age of over 2,700 years. At present, there are 268,500 mu of ancient tea trees in zhenyuan county, including 237,700 mu of wild tea trees.

In the east of zhenyuan county, Pu 'er City, Yunnan Province, there is an Ailao Mountain with mountainous peaks and boundless forests. There are many peaks in the west, and the majestic Wuliang Mountain nourishes the largest and oldest cultivated "Tea God Tree" in Laowu Mountain. There are also eight ancient tea mountains in China, including Madeng, Haitang, Chapenqing, Sun Da, Laowushan, Wuyi, Qianjiazhai and Chashanqing. They are famous, unique in flavor and excellent in quality.

In recent years, in order to protect ancient tea tree resources, a leading group for ancient tea tree resources was established in zhenyuan county, focusing on the Regulations on the Protection of Ancient Tea Tree Resources in Pu 'er City to inspect the distribution areas of wild ancient tea trees in the county.

Through policy propaganda, digital management, technical training, hiring forest resources management and protection personnel to crack down on illegal activities and other measures, the management, protection and rational development of ancient tea resources will be implemented.
