What is the relationship between strength and weakness?

A caring person took a group of elderly people on a short trip and carried a big cake at the starting point. I thought that after eating it, we set off. But after lighting candles, making wishes, and taking photos, I didn’t eat. We packed it again, took it to the car, and arrived at the destination. After seeing everything, we divided it into portions for the elderly to eat. What can I say?

Another company visits the elderly in nursing homes and fully demonstrates formalism. When we arrived at the place, we just put rice, noodles and other things there and took photos as souvenirs. We never showed any kindness to the old man. How can they have any sympathy for the elderly? However, it can be used to increase the reputation of a good company. As a bystander, I stood stupidly, watching the old man spend his last time in the yard at sunset. It’s a bit funny that the powerful rely on the weak to stand on their own in exchange for a good image!

Lack of Dignity

Before, I felt strange and never understood what was wrong with such "kind acts". Later, I finally understood. Dignity, when this kind of charity is carried out, the dignity of the group being helped is often ignored.

People who are capable are full of helping those in need, but the idea of ??inequality has long been buried in their subconscious. They often act in a high-profile manner, hold various ceremonies, take pictures constantly, ask the recipients to speak, and then distribute the donated items one by one to make it known to everyone. How can they care about the poor people's thoughts? Another friend said, are the items collected in the waste clothing collection boxes at the entrance of schools and communities meant to be given to poor people? Why can't poor people wear new ones when they can only use the clothes we have worn? In other words, can't we prepare new clothes or money to buy new clothes for them? How much harm would it cause to a self-respecting person if we do this?

Coincidentally, after thousands of years of experience in our country, the public generally lacks education and has weak self-awareness. How can we think that accepting gifts from others is something worthy of shame? When everyone hears someone coming to deliver something, they all act upon it, fearing that they will lose the benefit. How can they think of whether their dignity will be damaged? Sure enough, as Guan Zhong said, if the warehouse is solid, you will know etiquette; if you have enough food and clothing, you will know honor and disgrace.

In the final analysis, we are still too poor, otherwise who would care about the little things given by "well-wishers". Our education and society lack enough attention to the education of dignity.
